A Legacy of Community Service
The Old New Castle Outdoor Recreation Coalition was founded with a simple but powerful vision: to create meaningful recreational opportunities that bring our community together.
Over the years, we've grown from a small group of dedicated volunteers into a thriving organization that serves hundreds of families throughout New Castle. Our flagship project, the Battery Park Playground, represents the culmination of countless hours of planning, fundraising, and community collaboration.
Today, ONCOR continues to expand its mission through new programs, partnerships, and projects that enhance the quality of life for all community members. From educational workshops to outdoor recreation initiatives, we remain committed to fostering connections and creating positive change.
Together, we're building more than playgrounds—we're building a stronger, more connected community.
Our PROMISe
