ONCOR and the City of New Castle were awarded $125k by DNREC for the Battery Park Playground! ONCOR is also grateful to New Castilians: Gail and C.J. Seitz, Jany Byrd McCurdy, Scott C Nickle, Roberta Yarker Smith, Kathy Tidball, Sandra Polett, Lenore Keeney, Deidre McKosky, Lois Barth, Matthew Lovlie, Nancy Crowder, Ms Alice Jarvis and an Anonymous donor for their generous donations. We are now $126,683 closer to our goal!  ONCOR has raised $920K of the $1.2M budget to build a magical, accessible playground for all of our kids.

Join the Effort

To raise the remaining funds, ONCOR needs your support.  The Weekly will feature different pieces of playground equipment that you can sponsor individually or join with others to sponsor. Businesses and local groups are also invited to sponsor.  All sponsors will be added to the playground sponsor wall for the community to see.
